trimax trimaran repliable transportable
General
Requirements of the schedule of conditions of the TRIMAX 1050 are comparable with those claimed for their big transoceanic brothers. The plan of veil includes a mainsail entirely lathed and three veils of before: a jib, a light génois and a gennaker. A particular care was taken to the points following:

Veils
The standard veils are in Dacron, the veils high performances are in Kevlar.

Mainsail 52 m² 560 ft²
jib turning gear 27 m² 290 ft²
Génois light 52 m² 560 ft²
Gennaker 91 m² 980 ft²

Mast
The standard mast aluminium set. In option a mast in carbon is available.

Autonomy
Transportable in 3 m of width, or in 2,55m of width with dismounted floats. The draught of only 50 cm (high drifts) gives access with not very deep water and the stranding facilitates (without lodging). This combined with the great potential speed, authorizes you larger stages and offers a very great freedom to you. The technical installations are planned for a great autonomy (even in winter). The electric components chosen have one low electric consumption, so that panels solar, or a small generator will be amply sufficient. Trimax also envisaged other options, such as the heating, one water desalinator, a source of production of hot water, etc. The possible assembly is envisaged during construction in series.

Trimax - a trimaran high tech with long duration of life
High requirements for quality and of new technologies lead to a trimaran exceptionally light, without for compromising as much solidity, resistance and durability. A construction in sandwich using of the PVC foam with cells closed and the fibres laminated higher quality for the hulls, the bridge and all other parts of the gauge, guaranteeing an excellent solidity and an insubmersible boat. The use of the resin vinylester excludes the risk from osmosis. The arms, derivatives and saffron fibres are reinforced of carbon. The interior walls are structural and reinforcement hull that gives to the TRIMAX an extreme solidity. The derivatives and the saffron are swivelling. They go up automatically when they touch an obstacle that avoids their breakage or damages of the Trimaran’s structure.
Overall length 10.8 m 35.5 ft
Overall width 8.5 m 28 ft
Folded up width 3.8 m 11.5 ft
Width on trailer without disassembling 3 m 10 ft
Width on trailer with disassembling arm and floats 2.55 m 8 ft
Height of the mast 15.3 m 50 ft
Draught low drifts 1.7 m 5.6 ft
Draught high drifts 0.5 m 1.6 ft
Tare weight (version sport) 2500 kg 5500 lbs

Motorization
A trimaran requires a good motor which answers several requirements: to facilitate them operations of port, light being, to offer less resistance possible when it is unutilised, being effective and low noise. TRIMAX leaves you the choice enter three solutions :

Le chantier naval
AEROFLEET - European specialist in composites. Aerofleet is a leader of European market for the manufacture of complex composites. The building site manufactures its clean preimpregnated (glass fibre, of carbon and of kevlar) that it thermodurcit out of autoclave. To satisfy your most insane projects, or most ambitious, AEROFLEET is always ready to take up the challenge... In 1999, AEROFLEET undertook the realization of a dome (cupola) of protection for telescope VLT. For recall, le Very Large Telescope (VLT) was developed by the ESO (European Southern Observatory), on site of Cerro Paranal, a desert piton planted with 2635m of altitude, on the Pacific coast of Chile. The cupolas were ordered with AEROFLEET by AMOS activates in the optomechanics, and who is one of principal partners of the Chilean project. The company can be prided to count with their customers in composites: FN HERSTAL, BELGOCONTROL, TECHSPACE, Owens Corning, A380 AIRBUS, PRATT & WITHNEY, ALSTOM. All the boats are carried out under certification ISO 9001. contact
